I have designed a large disk with a number of large holes that represent more than 50% of the total area or the disk. The calculations of the area by Fusion 360 make no sense. It seems as if the holes are not subtracted. Am I looking at the wrong value in the properties of the component?  There is only one body in the component, so I am expecting a simple calculation. And if it is based on the entire area, it is still lower than my calculation by 3.5%. I calculate the area using Pi *R Squared.Frame Only 21-33.png

when I do a simple (easy to calculate) shape with holes it's dead on.  I suspect your calculations are off.  you can check your self by clicking on each face and getting the area of individual faces.  you might find the discrepancy that way

Yes, the property reported by fusion is the area of all surfaces of the entire 3 dimensional body(s). I was thinking flat plane of what I saw in the top  view.
