Hey,

I do have a sketch off my building. I have extruded is like seen in the picture. What I always wonder is how do I get a cover at the top and bottom of this body. I would like to use the outer Couture for that. Do I really need to add a new sketch make a projection and so on..

Is there a way to draw a box and cut away with the outer Couture?

I hope you under stand what I mean. My goal is to draw my house in Fusion 360 for 3D printing 🙂

many thanks

cheers

I would create a new sketch on the top wall surface.

By default auto projection is enabled ( its' not in my preferences) , so you don't have projects things manually.

That auto projected profile can directly be extruded.

Have you modeled 1:1 scale?

How thick are your walls?

What is the build envelope of your printer?

Why do you ask. The walls is not my problem I know that I cannot print them in the right size. I would be great if there is any tool in the future to help here.

But do you know a good solution for my question?

many thanks
