Viewcube disappears off screen

I am using the latest Fusion 360 just downloaded a day a go, and when ever I create a Form and a new box or use any of the options to modify an object the Viewcube disappears.

The only way I can get it to come back is if I click SHIFT + 1 which moves me into multiple window view and then click SHIFT + 1 again to go back to normal view, but constantly having to click SHIFT + 1 is really annoying, how do I make the viewcube stay permannetly on screen??

Could you run the graphics diagnostic command from the help menu and post a screen shot of the results here?

Make sure that your system meets the system requirements for Fusion 360.

If you're running on Windows, can you try the following suggestions:

Try updating your display driver from the manufacturer's website:

You may also check the text scaling settings in the OS:

  1. Go to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Display
  2. Set the size of the text to Smaller - 100% (default
  3. Enter the Set custom text size (DPI)
  4. Set the Scale to this percentage of normal size to 100%

Are you running dual monitors?

Thanks,

Hi,

Not sure if anyone is monitoring this thread, but here goes.

I have been having the same problem. As far as I can tell the viewcube randomly disappears. none of the following seem to make any difference :-

File size (from brand new almost empty design to one file that exported as 22MB).

What I am actually doing in the design.

The number of design files that I have open at any particular time (from 1 up to 10 or 12).

I am using fusion on a second screen at full screen on a laptop running windows 8.1.

As far as I know all the drivers and software are up to date.

The Fusion build number is 2.0.2088.

To fix the problem, I have to click "HIDE VIEWCUBE" then "SHOW VIEWCUBE" in the "VIEW" menu.

Which is not a major problem, but is very annoying.

Regards,

Brett
