I have been designing vases for a little over a month now using Fusion 360. I have had a great time, and I love using Fusion 360. This particular design has stumped me for a while now. The pink/red vase in the picture below. It has a pattern on it and the pattern scales/shrinks/grows with the diameter of the vase.
I have been using the sculpt mode quite a bit, and thought that if I could manage to get a cylindrical vase converted into a tspline that was compatible with sculpt mode, then I could shrink the middle of the vase. I haven't had much luck converting a model into a usable form for sculpt mode. I can't seem to make the pattern in sculpt mode either, so I am stuck designing in the model work space which doesn't seem to have the ability to "shrink" and "grow" sections of a model like sculpt mode can.
Any ideas on how best to recreate the pink/red vase below?https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2638924 by Ferjerez
