Using Draft Tool On Curved wall

Hello kind internet strangers,

I'm new to fusion, having mostly tinkered with Blender. I've been asked to make some cookie cutters for a friends birthday present and am struggling to create the bevel / slope I'd like from the cutting edge to the thicker supporting walls.

I've found the draft tool works well on very square / sharp angled shapes but I'm having a nightmare with curved shapes such as a teardrop or heart.

So far I have a 0.4mm wall extruded up to 15mm then an adjacent 0.8mm wall extruded up to 10mm. My plan was to make the exposed 5mm of the thinner wall slope out to the thicker wall. Is there a way to do this on any sort of shape or is it limited to square shapes?

I saw some people suggest using an offset plane but I can't quite fathom how to use that to get the result I'm after.
I've hunted through all the posts talking about drafts and not found anything quite so specifically related to this or just describing how to use the tool in general.

Can anyone offer any insight/wisdom?

Really appreciate the help, thank you

Evening Cad Whisperer - big fan! Spent a lot of time on your channel / reading your comments on here ...which means  I really hope I haven't missed something you've said a few times before ...um Here's the file anyway.

I had no issue at all using the draft feature on the letris cutters, done some lightning strike shaped ones too but the teardrops and heart shapes, no go at all.

Thanks again

Hi,

this way?

offsets.png

1. Loft > Surface

2. Finally > Thicken

Ooh! Looks promising, is that the loft tool? I tried that with a teardrop shape and had the same issue but I'm guessing I missed something obvious
