Using Dimensions In An Equation

I am unable to find any useful information about the ability to create an equation in a sketch dimension by selecting more than one of the other sketch dimensions.  If that still isn't possible, is there an easy way to pull up what a dimension's "name" is?

hi garmitage,

yes you can absolutely do this.

in this short clip, hovering over the dimension for a moment reveals the dimension name (d1, d2, etc...)

then type the dim name (you can click on the dim you want to use) and the rest of your equation.

this is the most basic example here.  You can get more complicated using parameters.

here is a more detailed example

hope this helps,

You can manually enter multiple dimension references , but you can only enter by clicking on one once.  Clicking on a second dimension returns the first clicked dimension.

Yep, I've reported that a while ago. It's another concept that was not fully thought through when it was implemented.
