Using and projecting intricate 2D svg sketch onto Surface

Hello 360 Fusionists,

I am trying to import a 2D svg sketch to then project onto a surface. The sketch, created in Adobe Illustrator, is quite intricate and has a lot of points.

I believe this is why it is really hard/slow to scale and move the sketch, not to mention projecting that sketch to then extrude cut etc.

Any suggestion to deal with this scenario?

Thank you very much

I use Illustrator a LOT.  When possible:

  1. Try to export the artwork as .dxf files instead of .svg files.  Fusion plays better with .dxf files than it does .svg files.
  2. Try to size the artwork before exporting for Fusion rather than scaling.
  3. Pro Tip: Place the center of your artwork in the upper left corner of your Illustrator canvas before you export it to .dxf.  That will place the center of your artwork at the origin in Fusion.

It is still a bit slow but you method helps a lot and it is enough to get it to work!
