Uploading Inventor Assemblies request

Hi

Why has the workflow for uploading Inventor assemblies been altered? I am not sure when it changed but importing Inventor assembly files used to be easy. I would click upload and select the option to use the Inventor project file, browse to the assembly I wanted to upload then A360 (or Fusion) would use the project file / assembly file combination to automatically upload the complete assembly with all the associated sub assemblies and parts to make a 'composite' Fusion file.

Now I have to make sure I select more than one file to force A360 to expose the 'composite' upload option then I have to understand what parts and sub assemblies are used in the Inventor file I am uploading so I can trawl through 100's of folders on our server and add all the relevant files to the upload box.

Please can you put the old Inventor project workflow back into the software, it was slick and did exactly what was needed. The current workflow is really counter productive as soon as you want to upload anything more than a small sample assembly.

If I am missing a workflow for uploading please feel free to correct me.

Regards

Martin,

For a possible work around, you might want to consider creating a folder on you A360 Drive and then doing a Pack and Go to that folder.

After you Sync, that folder and all of its contents will be on your A360 Web.

Thank you for idea - this is getting moved to solution provided because the current experience is as designed.  We understand your request, however due to complications supporting multi platform tools this feature lead to an inconsistence user experience.
