unfolding

Can I unfold/unroll/flatten in Fusion360? I would like to develop 2d  surface from 3d model.

SOUNDS LIKE YOU NEED SHEETTMETTAL. i tthink that in development from what i read, it may even be out for testting now.

Sheet metal is currently in development.  Here is a link to a video of our progress a month ago, since then we have worked on bend reliefs, corner reliefs and rules.  Once completed you will be able to unfold and flatten.

The team is working through the creation toolset.  There is a dependency on the flattening due to the architecture to make this happen.  I am waiting to hear back on the estimation for this work. Once I know this I can give a timeline.
