Unexpected Authentication Error Mac

Anonymous
Not applicable

Is there a similar solution to this: http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/design-validate-document/authentication-error/m-p/5884509/highlight/tr...  for OS X?

There's something similar in the info for the app, but I don't know the path where another option would be.

Everything was fine until I crashed.  Now trying to relaunch I'm getting this error.

Have you tried a private message to @James.Youmatz to see if he has any advice although mentioning him in this thread might be enough to get James involved.

Thanks @HughesTooling for helping our users out! You're the best!

He is experencing an error in his log file that is most likely network related (although this happened after a crash which is odd) which is Errno 64: Host Not Found. Thanks and @Anonymous I will go ahead and email you back with my suggestions. Thanks again Mark!

Last night, I was able to completely remove that install of F360 and I perform a reinstall off the Mac App Store.  I am now up and running again.

Few notes:

The Uninstaller will fail if it doesn't find an expected file.  The way it fails is kind of not great.  The Uninstaller gives you a file not found message and an ok button, then quits and deletes itself.  So you can't go back and replace what you moved and re-run it.  Might be nice if it either ignored errors and kept going, or quits and stays after a fail.  I was unable to find a download of just the uninstaller to try a workaround (another nice to have for anyone who is jammed up this way).

It was definitely not a network issue, had to be a corrupted file.  I checked multiple networks, reset routers, checked ports.  (AT&T uverse and over my phone's hotspot with T-Mobile).

Thanks for all your help!
