I know enough to make paths and simple models for machining. any help is appreciated . thank you

The first step is to turn on Show Points and Show Profile in the Sketch Palette. (Note: The top line was changed to a construction line in order to see the internal profiles.)  You have many disconnected lines.  Every white endpoint indicates the endpoints may not be coincident.  You'll need to resolve those.  Once those are resolved, if you still don't have a closed boundary for extruding, then draw a line bisecting the profile.  The line should not touch any endpoints.  If one side of the profile doesn't show as closed, then bisect that section.  Continue until  you find the problem.  This method is called The Divide and Conquer Method 😀

yep, thats kind of what I thought. This isn't my first rodeo, but I was certainly looking for an easy way like a tangent chain function or something. Thats seems selfish and lazy I know. Surfcam has something like that and works ok so I thought I would ask. Yep I do not wanna go through this...again...seems these are the only drawing I get from folks who request this type of work. you would think I could get a better drawing or model. Thanx for checking this out,
