Unclear how to create relationship between an eccentric cam and a follower

I want to create a toy that uses a cam to (in this case) raise the top of the egg shell:

I am ok with everything EXCEPT how to set up the constraints/drag motion between the cam and the follower.

How is this done in Fusion 360? (thank you).

You should be able to do it with a contact set. Take a look at this thead, I attached a sample file in that thread, the same idea should work.

Thank you very much for the quick reply Mark.  I will try the method you recommend and have already opened the design file you included for reference.

I added contact sets.  What I can't figure out is how to keep the follower following the motion of the cam as the cam goes down.

The motion starts with the follower just touching the cam:

The cam is rotated up, because of the constraint set, the follower follows the cam up:

There is no constraint working on the follower to follow the cam down:

Is there a constraint I don't understand that ties the follower to the downward motion of the cam?  (thank you).

If you're using a slider joint make sure the joint rest is at the bottom limit like this.

I've attached a sample file.

THANK YOU...btw: I found this video very helpful (i.e.: using slider/rest for "gravity"/floor setting): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ZB63JMUcVM

It took me several daze to understand all of what you did...I am brand spanking new to Fusion 360 and heck, 3d modeling. Perhaps too many hours later I dissected your sample file and each step and now understand.

I thank you very much.
