Unable to use Fusion360

Hello all,

I'm quite new to FUSION360 I enjoy the " Sculpt the New Fusion Logo" tutorial. I managed to get started relatively easy.

That issue began when i finished making my first section of planes and following the tutorial " i thought" My form did not convert to the rounded edges as shown. I looked to follow the correction the tutorial followed, not finding an answer i noticed aside from her using an Mac/Apple interface i had what seemed to the be a different banner layout in Sculpt Mode. I noticed she mentioned under "MODIFY" she finds "Utilities" and then scrolls down to "Repair Body"

This is my dilemma I DO NOT have that setup. in fact she has a number of Icons listed under Modify, I have a single icon with NO Utilities listed. My "Repair Body" function is listed in a separate icon under "Utilities". Even selecting Utilities Icon then Scrolling to Repair Body there is only "Repair Body" no side sub menu. I am at a current loss as to find any function telling why my box state remains nor do i see a "star" indicating any known problems.

Hopefully i have managed to explain my issue since i am not familiar with proper jargon.

Thanks for the well layed out Tutorials even is the different OS set up is a bit confusing the information remains rather concise and straight forward.

Thanks,

Can you state specific time steps in video tutorial?

What do you see if you click Finish Form button at the right end of your screenshot?

Don't get hung upon what menu's are where because that is somewhat configurable in Fusion 360.

The tutorial while in general very good makes one mistake in several places in that it uses triangles. Do NOT use triangles. Triangles ae E.V.I.L.

Try to approximate the shape you are trying to model with quad surfaces only. It will take a while until you get the hang of how to do that.

The presence of triangles and overlaping faces (visible best in box mode) might also be the reason that your mesh remains in bozx mode and does not convert into a rounded body.

BTW, Tanner Reid who created the tuorial is a guy, not a gal 😉
