Unable to delete Sketch Points?

Hi

It is possible to delete Sketch Points, right? And if so, how exactly do you do it? I keep trying to delete some unwanted points to a Sketch I'm experimenting with, but I can't seem to do it. I've tried clicking on one, drag-selecting over one, hitting the Delete key, right clicking and going to Delete, but they don't seem to go. I've also tried doing it in Edit Sketch mode and out of it. 😕 Any ideas? Thanks.

The only sketch visible, has no Points

You have spline points and end points, but no stand alone Points in this sketch.

Select the point and delete works here on spline points but that changes the spline shape.

Window select an end point to delete it and the line that owns it.

The visible sketch has lines with endpoints and control point splines with control points.  You can delete the control points, but the spline will change shape.  Endpoints of lines and other geometry can only be deleted by deleting the geometry.

Huh? I've loaded up the file to check and see I didn't make a mistake when I exported out the file. But... no Points...? If I select each one it says in the bottom right corner 'Sketch Point'. Some of them I can delete, especially the ones near the orange dashed lines. But corner ones and the white ones in the top left corner, I can't delete.

Is this what you wanted to clean-up in the sketch in the supplied model?

Every line has two sketch points, one at each end (most people just call them endpoints).  You cannot delete those without deleting the line.  The points you can delete in that sketch are the control points for the spline. Deleting those will change the shape of the spline.

Yeah, sort of. I mean, it's more trying to figure out how to delete some of those Sketch Points properly, particularly the white ones that were in the top left corner.
