Trying to use interference tool, but I don't think it is working.

Hey, so I am trying to make a sheath for the sword, when I select the two bodies, the sheath, and the blade, to make it so that the sheath is hollow so the sword could go through. It doesn't work tho. I don't know if I am doing something wrong, but nothing happens, i don't get any error, the thing does its "job" i guess, but the sheith doesn't become hollow. Here is the file to it:

Select both bodies then click the compute button.

Definately has interference.

Combine cut the blade + clearance out of the sheath.

Might help....

Hmm, I get the same interference thing too, but once I click "OK" it doesn't do anything, or maybe I am just doing it wrong. Would it be possible if you attatched a video or showed like a series of screenshots for what you meant for "combine cut the blade + clearance out of sheath" Sorry, I am still pretty new to fusion.

Interference Tool is just an indicator, will show overlapping and where the regions are, but will not do the cutting.

Modify > Combine > Cut

Sheath is Target body, Blade is Tool body.  (size for size is easy, making clearance is not.)

How much Clearance is needed?

Might help....

I changed Opacity of the Sheath so that you can see inside.
