trying to replicate a solidworks spline

hey folks, i'm trying to replicate a solidworks spline, but notice that the "handles" seem to have different values. for example, in one spline solidworks handle magnitude is 164, while the closest approximation in fusion is 29. i can get close, but does anybody know how to reproduce a solidworks spline exactly? thanks

Hello,

I am resuming your old question since I was trying to do the same, and I also realized there's something not immediate about it.

Trying to figure out why, I realized that there is also some different logic behind because there is not a single value you can use to scale the handle tensions. If the spline definition has some fundamental difference, there will be no way to find an equivalence.

I'll try to investigate and write here if I discover something.

Only fit point splines have tangent handles. Fit point splines in FUiosn 360 are 5-degree multi-span splines.
It is very unlikely that fit point splines are implemented the same way in SolidWorks.

Control point splines are much more likely to be the same, or at least very similar.

yes, you can try to create the spline by control points.  There is no consistent definition of the tangent handles across the applications.
