Total Newbie Can't Open File in Fusion 360 Slicer

Hi all,

I'm a clueless art technician trying to slice up a 3d model of a grasshopper I found online so a class can make a huge one out of cardboard.

I've managed to open the file in Autodesk Fusion 360 but I can't get it to open in Slicer to print out the shapes.

Why can't I open this file? I can't find any option to move it straight over from Autodesk either.

I haven't checked recently, but I think Slicer operates on STL files, you can't load a native Fusion file, but you didn't mention the file type/s, you have tried. Might help...

How do I save an autodesk file as an .stl? The file I'm trying to open is an .fbx, or from the 'fusion team' section where I can see the grasshopper files from autodesk when I'm in slicer; but it won't let me open them, they're greyed out as shown in the first screen grab I took.

Right click the top file name in the Browser, that menu has a "Save to STL" and will save out the whole model in one file, If you want files for each body in the design, right click on one body in the browser at a time. Might help....
