timeline features break again and again ...

there must be a bug in the code because after I repaired features weeks later they same set broke again.

a command or computate all brings makes the problem visible!

Repairing with time marker at the end = nothing works !

Repairing while moving time marker feature by feature = works !

So there is also a serious bug going on here with the computation forgetting the feature associations/results, and the ability to refresh features based on where your time marker is!

I can supply the fusion file upon request.

yes, please share the file with me (jeff.strater@autodesk.com), and I'll take a look at it.

Thanks,

Hi,

I am working with Jeff in this issue. By watching the videos, I realized that there are two possible issues involved.

  1. 1) Missing Input body for Mirror 5 which cause feature failures in Compute All (0:26 in the first video).
  2. 2) Mirror 5 fails after editing (0.42 sec in the first video). This is not as expected.

The model you shared with Jeff is the one saved from the end of the first video which we cannot used to reproduce two issues mentioned above. It will be very helpful if you can share the model before any modification (no feature failure).

yehsPDX and Jeff,

In my first post I explain two scenarios, one where it fails, one where I can fix the problem even with the file I send you? Did you test both approaches?
Check this new video I made after reimporting the Fusion file I made available to you.

Also this bug always seems to happen later in the modeling phase and thus it is hard to know when it started to happen.

I reported this few times already and it this one concerns me a little because it can make things kinda stressful in certain situations.

Fortunately I was able via the time marker position to repair the file. Now for me it is fine. I am curious if after more work the features might fail again.

I send Jeff an email with a previous version of the model before I started work. It is 4 days old.
