Threaded Hole Feature problem

Has there been any one else having trouble creating intersecting thread features?

In my model I need to lock a M12 x 1.25 fastener into its hole with a M4 grub screw. I have been unable to apply a M4 thread to a hole intersecting that of the M12. An error is flagged, as shown in the attached image.

Am I missing something?

Uncheck "Modeled" on the M12 hole, create the M4 Threads, and then go back and re-check the "Modeled" check box on the M12 threads. Worked for me!

Don;t use modeled threads unless tou want to 3D print these parts. I would not try to 3D print anything even close to a 4mm thread.

Also, it is good practice to reliee-drill the M4 hole with a larger drill before tapping. Tapping is slow/expensive and you would not want to tap much more thne the grub screw's lenght.
