Hello, I need to do a 26 X 1.0 external thread.

It lists the 26mm size but not the 1.0 thread pitch.

How do I get it to do the right thread pitch of 1.0 ?

Thank You.

You need to create a custom thread.

Serach in the Forum, there were some topics about it a few years back.

It involves finding and editing files that Fusion uses for the selection listing.

Sorry can’t be more specific, @HughesTooling do you still have links for it?

There's a thread here with some info and example custom thread files. If the one you're after is not there, copy the metric XML file from the fusion directory and copy the M6*1 thread from the XML file. Paste it into one of the example files and edit the diameters and just add 20.

Thanks guys, But that looks a lil above my brain.

Looks like when I go to the Manufacture tab that I can choose the thread pitch there when I machine it.

So I think I will give this a try as I am making this in house.
