Text for 3D Printing

I want to 3D Print some Badges.. 

How do I model the Exact same Text for 3D Printing..? 

Badges attached for Reference. (Size can be like 5*5*0.3 to 0.7 cm).

Hi,

vectorise them in AI, Inkscape ... or use an online vectoriser.

Sorry so late to this thread.  I'd managed to blast the text into lines with TXTEXP command.  Oh, make sure your text uses a font that is more than the width of the 3D printer nozzle.  Then make Regions off all the letter characters with REGION command.  Then Extrude all the Regions with EXTRUDE.  You can UNION the 3D solid characters on the tap of your 3D solid badge, or SUBTRACT the 3D solid letters from your solid badge.  I made an "if lost please contact" dog tag for my dog.  I might have students make luggage tags the same way.  No other software is needed, if you save your 3D Solids into a .stl file, and later import it into your Slicing program, such as Cura.
