Text box hassle

I'm aware that whenever i make a text box in a sketch, i am not able to dimension it. if i just grab a corner or outline of a text box (even the lower left reference corner) and drag the box around, the font size changes. if you activate the textbox, you can drag it around on the lower left corner, but it wont snap to positions. so aligning a text is already quite annoying, but possible with this workaround:

make two orthogonal construction lines at the desired position, and fix the text box into place with collinear constraints.

now comes the real issue:

whenever those aligning construction lines are moved (by distance dimension, or constraint, for example) the textbox reacts as if one drags directly on its outlines, and the font changes size again.

SERIOUSLY!?

is adding text to a sketch really that unflexible? or is this feature not entirely thought through?

am i missing something? could someone enlighten me?

Hi,

As far as I know, the text feature is still limited in Fusion 360, and editing or snaping to it can't really be done at the moment
