Unfortunately, today this is not easy to do. The only way I've managed to do this is to position each character separately. It's not really acceptable, we realize, and enhanced text capabilities are on our roadmap.
The only workaround that I'm aware of is to do the text in another program that can produce SVG or DXF output, and import that into Fusion.

anyone come up with a better way to do this ? I wnat to write a program to engrave around the edge of circle like the words "quarter Dollar" on a quarter...?
If you're running Mach3 I made post for 4 axis wrapping, it converts the X or Y axis to and angle to machine on the surface of a cylinder. If you're using a different control I might be able to setup a post for it if you have some time for testing.

Thinking about this a bit more I think you want the text to follow an arc not on the surface of a cylinder so this program might help. Deskengrave It has the option to save as a DXF file.
