Templates from drawing missing

I can't seem to find my drawing templates any more when making a new drawing. I'm sure they used to be in a drop down list under "Drawing" before? Anyone else missing them?

The UI dialog has been updated in the coming release, and the entry of drawing template is showing as the snapshot below.

Ah, thank you.

Just my 2 cents, but that isn't obivous at all from the UI.

Cheers,

John

I had the same issue, and it became quite frustrating when I contacted the help chat. The agent walked me through how to create a drawing step by step, but didn’t address my actual question. I even said, ‘I know how to make a drawing — my question is extremely simple, where is the template?’ and the agent could not answer it.

When I pushed further, they simply directed me to the forum, and that’s where I finally found the answer. Thank you @liang_chen

As a lecturer, situations like this just add to my workload because I have to keep updating my video tutorials. Otherwise students will complain that ‘your tutorial doesn’t match what I see on my screen.

Please do not change if it's not essential.

I, too, was thrown by this little change. If I could put in my 2 cents to the Fusion team, please just be careful about changing button locations and simple behaviors like this, especially if you're not going to warn us about them in the change notes.

I also agree this is not obvious. It is an additional few button clicks for a feature our team uses for every drawing.

I also find it frustrating that Fusion does not remember your last selection and you have to pick the template every time.

In the previous version, if you used a drawing template for a drawing, Fusion would remember this and offer the drawing template for the next drawing.
