Hi Folks!

I'm trying to use the drawings, but it's set to inches.. Under the drawings settings/preferences, I'm unable to select mm. Is there a right way to do this?

Thanks!! 🙂

Hi, you need change units in Fusion preferences, not in drawing settings. Preferences you will find if you extract tab with your name on it (top right corner).

Hello heyarn,

Just adding screen shots that the initial reply talks of, if this helps.

Preferences 1.png

Then make modification here,

Preferences 2.png

This should correct what your looking to do. Please reply to post if it does not.

Best Regards,

Thanks guys! I got it to work. I could definitely use more skills in making these tech drawings. Are there any tutorials I could follow that you'd recommend? (cant seem to find any on youtube)

Hi Heyarn, thanks for your interest.

It's a little out of date, but the Fusion 101 Trainings are a nice walk-through for all of the Fusion workspaces, including Drawings. Check back soon, because the whole Fusion 101 is getting a massive overhaul at the next Fusion release.

And if you haven't seem them already, check out these 2D Drawing videos on the Learning & Resources site:

Hello heyarn,

Fusion follows quicker cycles for product update it’s challenging to provide videos showing all content. Another option from the last useful reply post with links would be to check out https://screencast.autodesk.com/ and set the product to Fusion 360 All Years. The videos there might give you some specifics on workflows.
