Switching Configurations Bug

Hey, My fusion file was working fine I have multiple configurations setup that use different parameters to change the size of some wood panels, then I make cuts in these wood panels. When I change to my larger configuration the small extrusion still exists. I rolled back to right when the panel was created and still the full finished and cut wood panel from the smaller configuration exists within the larger panel. I try to redo the extrusion, and still the small panel is there. I have one single active extrude in my file and still the small one exists. It is happening with a whole bunch of other components throughout my file too. I have tried to compute all and nothing happens.

can you create a simple model that exhibits this behaviour and attach to post?

Hi @onTFJVG

I am not sure i understand the problem you are describing, but is it possible the sketch profiles are disappearing when you switch between configurations, so that the Extrude command does not have a sketch profile to select?  Could you check if your sketch is healthy?

Regards

Gautham

Its fine, there is one sketch active that is just a rectangle that changes lengths, basically the entire smaller configuration is active and all the extrude cuts are being made even though I have rolled back before the point that they are actually made. Not sure how but you can see in the photo that the smaller rectangle with cuts is being created even though the only extrude active in the file is the one creating the large rectangle.

It's a little bit hard to understand the problem without the file(s). If possible, you can share the design file(s) and we can take a look at it.

Well, The problem just went away lol. I closed and opened the file like 20 times and it just magically vanished the 20th time. I think it was just a visual bug... not sure why it didnt fix the first few times I closed the file but whatever...

OK, nice to see the problem is gone. Yes, we saw some graphic display issues before. If you meet the problem in future,  can you please export the design file and share it to us for further investigation and fix the problem?

Thanks,
