Hello Everybody,

I seem to be having  problem with the sweepig function in FUSION 360. In my data you can see that on the left is my intended sweep which worked perfectly. But on the other sidde it keeps making a circle no matter what degrees I enter to make it as I want it. I tried a lot of stuff but I seem to be to retarded to find a solution to tis. Can anybody help with this problem of mine?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi,

Please share the file.

I suppose you should use "Revolve" or sweep > "Distance" = 0,25

File > export > save as f3d on local drive  > attach it to the next post.

Actuallly now after reopening the data my original work seemed to work. But now i can't extrude from the sweep to finish off my desgn. Can you figure out what's going on there? I want to extrude 8mm and finish off rounding the end to give it the cone shaped end like on the other side.

This time I applied a f3d data, thanks for the explanation for applying an f3d data.

Thanks in advance for helping günther.

Why are you not duplicating the finished original.  Two sketches, two Sweep, Extrude fillet,

Make one, circular pattern - count 2.

Might help....

Hi,

1. There is something corrupt with the sketches for the sweep.
In another file I could not recreate the behavior
2. do it as @davebYYPCU  recommended
