I want to make a body that follows a line that I made. The line is a circle around Z axle and also a wave pattern in x/y. I have then made a profile sketch at the beginning of the line (Plane along path). Think of it like a big wave washer but with a little more advanced cross section. Now I want to use the sweep tool to make the body. It should be perpendicular around the cylinder (similar to revolve) but also parallel on the wave. Instead I get that it is perpendicular for both the cylinder and the wave and I don't want that.
Is there a way to do this with the sweep tool? Or can I make it in two steps somehow, like first make a body like a "flat washer" and then add the wave as some kind of transformation afterwards?
