Sweep cut along multiple curved faces

I want to create a groove on this model along its curved faces. Is it possible to project a path on these faces and then sweep a sketch along this path? I can do this on the opposite face which is flat, but I'm not sure how to deal with that.

Please attach your model so the Fusion users can work with it directly.

If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 model follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save as a F3D or F3Z file to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section, of a forum post, to attach it.

Hi! I believe it is doable. In the Sketch panel -> Create -> Project/Include -> Project to Surface -> select the target faces and select the curves to proejct.

Many thanks!

I personally prefer to work with surfaces instead of projected sketches as it is a much more robust way of modeling.

The attached model shows only one way of accomplishing what you are looking for.

I use the pipe tool to cut the groove.

If you need a profile that isn't offered by the selections available in the pipe tool. then create a plane on the path, and create the sketch for the groove profile on that plane. Then sweep the profile along the path..

Thank you so much for your answer.

Unfortunately I cannot open the file. I use Fusion 2.0.18.477 because I use an old computer and Fusion can not be updated anymore.

Is it possible to show me with a video or screenshots how you  created this?
