Sweep an arc with flat ends

Beginner question, first post - sorry for trouble.

I want to create an arc with flat ends standing on the ground. But no matter what I do, after sweep, the second "end" is never flat on the ground. This should be something very simple, basic and stupid, so even Google is not helping me.

The "Other"  end is some 25 degrees off.

 What I'm doing wrong?

You're not doing anything wrong that's just the way it works. The easiest way to do this would be to revolve the rectangle through 180° the make a sketch and extrude\cut to the correct size. Something like this.

Or you could use Loft and draw a rectangle at both ends of the arc, not sure what the cross section's going the do if you use a loft though.
