Surface Patch Operation Failing

So I am trying to create a surface patch in my STEM RACING car, but for some reason, the operation fails and I'm not quite sure what to change. 

The same surface patch in the same area worked previously. The only difference is that the top is a bit higher. 

Does anyone know why this is the case? Any help is appreciated. Thank You.

Hi

The problem is caused by a sharp break in the spline.

A surface patch to that border is unlikely to succeed. Even if "some geometry" is created, it likely isn't the going to be useful.

Are you under a time crunch, or do you have time to redo some stuff?

If you have some time I would recommend doing some things over!
