stuck uploads and crashes

I had 6 files stuck in the upload queue that wouldn't upload.

Moreover many (not all) of them, if launched, cause a crash.

Removing the .json files was insufficient.

As tried working offline, saving, then going online.

But in combination with deleting the Queued Uploads XML file in the W.login folder was able to clear the queue.

Certain of those files still cause F360 to crash when they are launched.

Just tried opening one of them in A360 (no problem) and then clicking on "Open in Fusion".

That lead to a crash in F360.

What can I do?

(Have no reason to believe there is something terribly wrong with the offending files and they were all working fine yesterday. Indeed the version launched from A360 was certainly working fine yesterday.)

ps my internet connection is excellent and have tried at two locations. Mac OS Sierra / Macbook Pro Retina.

pps attached a "typical" crash report after trying to open file

Was able to create a new file and insert one of the offending files in it no problem.

So many things point to the files being OK but there being some issue with my F360 in its currents state.

One thing I haven't done is to clear the cache for fear of losing some unsaved changes (and not knowing what they were).

Hi @maker9876,

Let's see if we can get that file back into working condition! Can you go to the help menu and collect your diagnostic log files and send those along to me at james.youmatz@autodesk.com. Also, what is the name of the file that is having an issue? I wouldn't think these would be related to your Fusion install, but the log files will give us better hints. Are you submitting any crash error reports to us also (is it even generating that dialog when you crash?).

Thanks,

Thanks James.

Have just sent an e-mail.

There's a crash report attached to the first forum post and, yes, have been submitting crash reports after nearly every crash.

Hi @maker9876,

Haven't gotten the email yet, but I'll keep an eye out. Also, went to check the crash reports in our database and couldn't find any based on the email address I have on file. If you want to PM me your Fusion email, that would be great! Also, just so we are on the same page, is the file still an issue or everything seems to be okay on that end now? It is just the crashing issues now?

Thanks,
