Struggling with tapering or fillet

Hi everyone,
hoping you all ok
I have attached a file that I’m having issues with and hoping for some help.
I have put a small taper in the daisy head body but for the leaves in trying to taper the extrusion at an angle (wider at the bottom and non at the top) where the middle of the leaf is, the lines will join at the bottom with a "v" like indentation at the top. not sure if I’m making any sense.
I tried to taper, tried to draft. It’s not working. Tried to fill in the edges and even that does not work.
has my fusion broken? or it is me. im a newb so thinking it is definitely me.
If anyone has a bit of time to check it out and help point in the right direction I’ll be grateful.
Thank you so much in advance!

The very tight radii in the leaf shapes when tapered would collapse on themselves or  create bow-tie geometry.

It is better to sketch these shapes with sharp corners, then extrude/taper and then fillet.

But you'll also have to think about the fillets on the top edges.

Too much of a taper would also cause very tight radii on the top surface, which can then also  create a filleting problem.
