hi all im struggling to shell a few parts in my design can anyone help out? point out what im doing wrong

Shell (inside / outside) to what wall thickness, I get 1mm inside ok, for two bodies that are not joined yet, but the other long one fails.

Whats wrong, not enough Tangent Constraints.  
All the flowing curves should be tangent.  Sharp corners and creases would not help.

 

Might get you started,


but

not fixing yellow icons when they happen, 

sketches not fully constrained,

Move Command, 

Press Pull, 

Delete Face, 

do not feature in my timelines.

I addition to all of the issues observed by @davebYYPCU I would not attempt to model near net shape using Loft.

This results in poor quality geometry.  Mimic the real-world process to create the original prototype (or mold tooling).

Hi! The traditional Shell command will not work for the model as is. Some sort of geometry simplification is needed. I use Offset Surface command to create the 5mm offset surface. Then hollow the body. Please take a look at the attached f3d file.
