Hello everybody.

I am a undergraduate student. I was trying to design my graduation project but I had an problem. As I mentioned on the title I am trying to design stents but the problem I have is I can't go any further from designing the cell. How can I create a stent with chosen cell structure?  I can't do cylindrical shape of the cell structure.

Thank you for your helps.

A Stent to me is one of those devices the doctors stick into a vessel to open it up, an expandable mesh.  How do you relate that to your model?

This is what I call a Stent but I am a mechanical designer so what do I know.  It this what you want to place inside your pipe in your model?

Hello Mr. Heckney,

First of all, I am thankful for your answer.

Yes that is one of the standart stent they use in medical area. But my project is about new designs for stents with using 4D Printing. So I am trying to create new lattice examples for new stents. The example I gave in the question is just a random thing(not approved just trying new stuff with bigger dimensions) to understand how can I design it on Fusion360. I can design the just a part of the model(lattice/cell) but I can't create a cylinder with using that model. That is my problem. I can't bend the model for a cylindrical shell and also I can't create the cylinder as well.

Kind of. The blanks space between those will be filled and also we can design with those ends. It would be helpful

just throwing this out for you to play with, based on your original upload.  the parameter "num_of_segmetns" will adjust the number of segments going around.
