Anyone else run into the problem where it hangs at the Hub is being configured intro screen? This is happening on a pcs that previously had the beta on it as well as one that never did. Also after removing all the folders mentioned in the cleanup portion of the faq the only thing that changes is it asks me to log in prior to hanging at this point. Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the community Peter!
While I've never seen this exact situation before, the following have worked to resolve similar Fusion 360 access issues.
Are there any special characters in the username?
Have you tried disabling your firewall or turning off your antivirus?
Are you able to get past that screen with a new / different account?
Hi Phil, thanks for replying.
No special characters in username, disabled the firewall and virus on one of the pcs and no change.
When I removed the following folder I am able to get the login screen again:
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Autodesk\Web Services
When I use a different login I can get in, signing out and then back in as me still fails though and requires me to remove the folder again to get back to a login screen. There an issue with my login from having used the beta a little?

My pleasure Peter and thank you for providing the additional details!
I've passed on the additional details to our backend / development team and will get back to you ASAP with any findings.
Just wanted to follow up. I got an email saying welcome to Fusion 360 and just checked and am able to login now. So it looks like whatever the issue was it was fixed on the backend. Thanks again for forwarding the issue on Phil, much appreciated.

You're very welcome Peter and thanks for hanging in there while we figured this one out!
Hi there!
I seem to be experiencing a similar problem to the one Peter was having. I've recently installed Fusion 360 client on my Mac however it is stalled on the, "Hub is being configured" page. I've tried re-installing the client but it just went directly to the same page without even asking for any login details. I still have Inventor Fusion installed on my Mac, can it perhaps be a complication to do with that or is it a back end issue again?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks a lot,
Anthony
Hey Anthony,
Is this issue still occurring or has it resolved itself? Fusion 360 has been designed for both Mac and Windows computers.
A couple of questions if the problem is ongoing:
You may consider clearing your web browser cache (Shift + Command + Delete should work for Firefox and Chrome... For Safari - History drop down menu > Clear History).
You may also consider deleting any Autodesk directory in the ~/tmp directory (Finder > Go to folder > /tmp).
Hope this helps. Please keep us posted on your progress.
Thanks,
Hi Nate,
Thanks for the quick reply.
So I ran through your list of suggestions and the only thing that really worked was deleting the "Webservices" folder in "Application Support" and relogging in as a different user. I created a new account just to try it out and it all seemed to setup up fine. However, as soon as I logged out and tried to sign back in with my original account it stalled on the hub configuration page right after authenticating my Id. I can log into the online community and into Autodesk 360 with my Id (the one I'm using to reply to this post) but Fusion 360 seems to be having problems with it. Also might be worth noting that I did not receive any confirmation email once I logged in to Fusion with my original Id, unlike when I created a new one for testing.
I'd really like to be able to keep my original Id, any ideas or possible fixes?
Thanks again!
Anthony
Anthony,
Thanks for the update. My best guess is that the period in the username is the issue. I'll double check on this and the available options and get back to you.
Cheers,
Anthony,
I've confirmed that the period is acceptable. I should have known this as several Autodesk employees have usernames with Periods.
I've had someone flip a switch on the back end. Please give it another try when you get a chance and let me know if it helps.
Thanks,
Hello,
Seems like this problem is still around. I just installed the Fusion 360 and got stuck in the Hub Configuration, can you help? I'm using Macbook air 2011 with Mavericks OS.
BR,
Antti Kautto
Hi Antti Kautto!
I apologize for the inconvenience with the hub creation. To clarify, the period is acceptable in the username. I've inquired with the product team to check for potential problems. If a problem is found, someone will hit the "reset" button. You may check back periodically; however, I will reply here once an update is available.
As a temporary solution you may consider creating another Autodesk ID to log into Fusion 360 with. Thanks in advance for your patience as we work to resolve this issue.
Kind Regards,
Hi Antti!
I found out there was an issue that self-corrected, yesterday. Please let us know if you have any further difficulties with the hub creation or anything else.
Kind Regards,
Hi Nathan,
I just installed Fusion 360 on my Macbook Pro 2011 running Mavericks, and I am facing the same problem. I've tried the tips metioned in previous threads, but it just won't get through the hub configuration. Is there any new development on a fix for this issue?
Thanks
Paerhati
