Space Mouse and multiple view ports

Work is a Win7 64b PC w/ wirelss space mouse and home is iMac Retina w/ Spacepilot Pro. On either system, when I open a design in the graphics window all is well - joystick works and buttons work (except for radial menus on wireless spacemouse). If I then switch to multiple viewports, the 3D mice continue to operate and follow the focus to each window. However, when I switch back to a single view, the 3D mice stop working completely. Oddly enough, if I go back to multiple view, the 3d mice are working again.

The only remedy to get them working in a single viewport again is to quit the program and restart.

Was wondering if anyone using these sorts of input devices can confirm this behavior? TIA for any info.

Agreed. Same behaviour here with Win7 64b PC and 3DConnexion SpaceExplorer (with latest driver).

Otherwise, this release of Fusion 360 gave me the best experience of the SpaceExplorer so far. Previously, I experienced limited function of the buttons (i.e. the pre-assigned buttons).

I sent a mail to one of the developers who have been working on the 3Dconnexion support. So he can try to look into this.

jamie, tgallyot1,

Thanks for the replies, much appreciated.

René,

Thanks for referring this.....wasn't sure how responsibility is parsed for such situations.

The developer opened ticket #UP-17234 for this issue for reference.

Same problem with a wireless spacemouse combined with a watcom intuos pro and a mouse.

The issue is fixed already, please upgrade your Fusion360 app to the lastest version, then have a try with a Space Mouse.
