Hi Folks,

I noticed a couple of days back that I no longer have ground shadow, ground reflection, anti-aliasing etc in the model environment and these options are greyed-out in the selectable icons at the bottom of the page. I have recently installed the latest Catalyst driver for my ATI graphics card and I'm not sure if that is the cause or whether I've inadvertantly reset something in Fusion? It's a DELL studio laptop.

Anyone seen this, or could kindly advise what I could try to restore these options?

Many thanks,

Ed.

Here's a screen grab showing the greyed-out settings.

@EDuffner

Not sure if it's the same as your problem but on my laptop after installing drivers it defaulted to the integrated GFX card and had this issue.

Check to see which card your using. If the limit effects is checked that can also cause this issue.

Hello Phil,

Many thanks for your reply, that's fixed it. There is a setting in Graphics diag to "Limit effects to optimise performance", unchecked it and hey presto.

Kudos to you Sir.

Fixed it for me, too. Phew.

Question 1: why was this option checked?

More importantly, Question 2: why is this option hidden away in Help > Support and Diagnostics > Graphics Diagnostic? This really ought to be in the regular settings!
