smoothing pipe bends

I am new here and a first time post. I am a (very) part time CAD user but have been designing some tooling for wood turning. 

I have used the pipe function in the Model work-space to create a 3/4' diameter solid bent rod by following a two section straight line sketch with a 22.5 degree bend.

When I model it, the steel bar shows a angular bend and not a typical heat forged bend with a nice radius. Is there a way to 'smooth' this bend?

Yes, click on the sharp edge where the two tube sections meet and select the push-pull tool. Or you can select the Modify->Fillet tool.
