Are we still talking about the "optimized" honeycomb structure I helped converting from a Mesh to a T-Spline to solid body as shown in the screenshot at the end ?
Based on what we exchanged per PM this is a school project. Please let us know what the extends of this project are. You are dabbing in a subject matter that is very complex and at this time I feel don't have the foundational knowledge to deal with properly. You are applying tools without understanding of what these tools really do and how they work.
You mentioned that the honeycomb structure was "optimized" by using shape optimization. If your attempt is to optimize this wing structure then that optimization should by any means have included the skin of the wing. This is a composite/laminate structure and just as a composite material you cannot really optimize it's elements separately and assume you get any meaningful results.
Once, however the skin of this wing is included this very thin walled geometry is very difficult to assess for FEM software. Just like many 3D printed geometries with internal lattice structure these are not easy to go through a FEM analysis without using specialized approaches.
Here is an article of the influence of the outer surface on the strength of a 3D printed object that also has an internal lattice structure.
Here is an intro to FEM for 3D printing. Note point #3 discussed:
(3) In the case of Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM), the presence of an outer surface (see definition here) makes the properties of the part dependent on its geometry.
The reason for the difficulty in determining strength of the structures is how most FEM software works. First your object has to be meshed, or in other works it will be broken down into tetrahedrons. For structures such as this wing where theres a stark difference between wall thicknesses. That alone will already be a challenge as mesh densities between the different geometries will be different.
But lets get back to the question you asked. How would you want to join these separate solid bodies and what would you join these to ?
The shape optimization seems to have created many small isolated mesh bodies (not solid bodies. That cannot contribute anything to the strength off the wing.
