Smooth Transition in a pipe

Hello 

I am trying to get a smooth transition into the end arc of a pipe sweep as per the attached drawing (area circled in blue)  I am unable to use a fillet  what's the best way to approach this.

Here's one way. 

Create a body with an edge that follows the centre line of the pipe.

Then add the pipe. See attached design.

Attached is a variation of @HughesTooling and @wersy using a Fit Point Spline for the perpendicular transition
