smooth connection between two curved bodies MESH

Has anybody an idea how to make a smooth transition bewtween two bodies with a curved surface.

i converted them into a mesh and used smooth. but there is still a harsh border between them.

any ideas?

Mesh bodies will never own a curved face.

Not opened the file yet, 

Judicious use of Fillet tool, should get you there.
