Slow save and load time with STEP and F360 combined body

Hello,

I made a fine tuning screw out of a top made in Rhino 5 last week exported that to step file and a 2nd thread part in F360, it looks very good but for some reason F360 crashed after a thread bug and now saving seems to take ages here, is there a known issue when editing imported step files in F360 ?

I had to kill Fusion 360 as after a long time the files weren't saved to cloud, 100% Fusion components didn't take this long to save ...

thanks,

Hans

Just adding this info, F360 took a long time to restart and two files are still being saved, I can't delete them, and nothing happens, what can I do, no way to access the components anymore, this is the screen that I have now and that doesn't change anymore, any suggestions, I can't access my data anymore? thanks

Hi Jamie,

ah so maybe it's not just related to my model then 🙂 thanks for the info!

cheers,

Your files are held on your local machine, so you shouldn't lose any work here. Once the server is a back up the upload to the cloud will resume. you can leave Fusion up in the background. this is a back end issue we are working to resolve as quickly as possible. I'm keeping an eye on this and will keep you posted. sorry for any inconvenience, stay tuned.
hope this helps,
