slider Joint on X and Y axis

I'm new on Fusion 360 but now I have a problem I thought i would resolve in 2 minutes.

I have a plate with a pin on  and a plate with a slot in in X axis and Y axis. I created a  sliding joint from the the pin to X axis and another to the Y axis. When I suppress one of the two joints i can of course move the plate in one direction ..

I searched in the forums but did not find an answer on what I think is something basic. no ?

Thanks

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

With one slotted component, as your screen capture shows, a combined simultaneous motion along both axis is not possible without, as you already know, suppressing one Slider Joint or the other.  Since each slider joint uses a different motion axis one always violates the other so they cannot act together.
