first time trying slider joints. i have the joints made. i think. theres two bearing surfaces sliding in a channel.

i managed to get them placed into the channel. but they are flipped to wrongway from each other.

im trying to figure out how to get them flipped, and sliding (using animation or however that works) before i design the rest ofthe channelthey follow.

im not exactly sure how to share the project, or even the drawing here. any help in any direction much appreciated.

ok, i think this isthe file.

the sliding pin closest to the long edge, should be on the other side of the pin closer to center. right now i just trying togetthe door mechanism sliding up and down in the track. mynextstep is to extend the track and makea curve thatthe top pin will follow.

Hi @dieselguy65

Thank you for sharing your design.

You can now animate the joint and the door moves now 200 in forward and backward.

I went trough it and changed a couple things. You might want to check how I structured your design in the Browser.

I have converted everything into components and connected these with joints and as well used the "Ground" function.

Here is the link to your design. http://a360.co/29trASU

Please feel free to modify it. I hope you can use it.

Thanks,
