Just need to get some NOOB assistance in fixing the slider action between two components The Support Arm Assy has to slide -3.5 and 3.5 from the current zero point.  I have grounded the Primary PTU plate.  Having difficulty determining the best way to make the slider joint function correctly.  The offset plate should ride on the inside face of the lower channel.  Is the key to select the lower face of the offset panel, then select the inner face of the lower channel.  Help would be most appreciated

Please attach a native Fusion model (F3D or F3Z) file, not a STEP.

If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 model follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save as a F3D or F3Z file to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section, of a forum post, to attach it.

If the Forum gives you trouble attaching the F3Z file, zip it first.

It takes a lot more work to fix a STEP file before you can add the desired Slider Joint.  Your model is attached but be sure next time to attach a native Fusion model.  The Slider Joint limits are set to return to zero after you drag it to either side.

If this answers your question, please select the "Accept Solution" icon on my post. If you have further questions, please ask.
