Slicer for Fusion 360

I have a question regarding the colour of the outlines in Slicer and whether or not I can change these?

The reason I ask is that when I output plans the colours do not match up to the colours we use for the laser cutter.  This requires a changing the colours for each of the students slicer designs (very time consuming).

Anyway, if there is a way I would appreciate hearing from anyone about the above.

Hi Tony, 

We have not provided that option so far. What are you using to talk to your laser cutter? Some apps can be automated to change the colors on a batch process. Since everything is organized in layers (if you use DXF), it should be fairly straightforward.

I'm wondering if there is something new about this topic.

I'm using the EPS export format and it could be fine if it could be possible to change  (map) the output colors as well.

may be an XML config file ?

aHi Jean-Michel,

it would be great to be able to map the colours before you output the EPS file (I also use this file format).  Maybe Autodesk could think about adding this option to save us from having to process the EPS files further before we send to print/laser cut.

i open the output EPS files in Adobe illustrator and manually change the line colours.  As per a previous response from Autodesk I assume there is a way of mapping the line colours to output different colours that meet my laser cutter requirements (Universal laser).  However, I could see this creating confusion with both the teaching staff and students and so I continue to manually change the line colours before output.

if anyone out there knows of a simpler, easier method please shout.
