Hi All,

I am struggling to make the jump from Vcarve to Fusion for Cam. I have drawn up one of my cores which has come out as I want it but when it comes to manufacturing there are edges where the top face curve meets the flat as you can see in the picture. The parallel toolpath works well but the 2D contour does it in sections due to these lines on the face. Is there any way to do this better?

Is there a tangent condition at the transition between the curved and flat sections of the top surface?

That might cause the issue where it machines it in "sections" instead of continuously along the length... I haven't dug into it yet but maybe look into steep and shallow as a different approach from  2D parallel.
