Sketching best practices

Hi,

I am transferring from CREO/Solidworks/Rhino to Fusion 360. Can someone please help me to transfer my mindset as well? 🙂

What is the easiest way to draw and define a trapez around the center??

I really miss the centerlines and mid snap around these for this one...Or is this possible or do I need a new mindset?

BR Rasmus

I would sketch a 4 sided profile with the Rectangle command.

Here is a link to a Autodesk University class  that also included many good tips about sketching in Fusion 360.

The handout is also viewable on google docs here

This is the the section of interest to this thread.

Hello Peter,

The handout is really informative, I think this will reduce the amount of very similar sketch questions in the forum.

Great job!

Best regards,

Ludo
