sketch mirror issues

Just wanted to see if anyone else has had this issue or if i'm doing something wrong.

If i select 2 squares at -50mm and mirror them to +50mm they're not exact. They end up 50.052 or something like that which throws the whole design out if i don't realise it's happened. Is this issue to do with the mirror reference line not being exact or am i missing something? Also, is there any way to mirror without leaving a link to the original geometry to be able to edit independently of the original rather then edit the original to edit all copies?

cheers.

You are missing logic.

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

I have not experienced the change in size of a fully constrained sketch so I cannot comment on that.  You can however break the link between the original sketch and a mirror of it by deleting the required symmetrical sketch constraints added during the mirror operation.  This is a manual process as there is no switch to select in the mirror dialog box.  In my Screencast I mirror a rectangle and then delete a couple of the symmetrical sketch constraints to demo.
